This position performs clinical nursing duties related to the following Department of Health in Collier County (DOH-Collier) programs: Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD), Employee Health, Family Planning, Immunizations, Adult Health with the majority of time focused on Infectious Disease (HIV/AIDS). The position requires the ability to work independently within scope of practice for described duties listed. Position coordinates daily clinic activities with providers including the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Medical Doctor (MD) staff. This position is at risk for exposure to respiratory and bloodborne pathogens; requires annual TB assessment which may include Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) and recommended to have up-to-date vaccination for vaccine-preventable diseases.
