Requirements
- 2+ years related experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- High School Diploma/GED Preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate the press based upon instructions provided.
- Work with press crew to ensure each job is produced to customer specifications, meeting internal and external deadlines.
- Report the status of projects and any issues of machinery to the head press operator.
- Read and understand job tickets and verify that stock matches job specs on ticket before loading press.
- Transfer paper to and from machinery using industrial trucks or hand trucks.
- Monitor paper as it runs through the press and make adjustments to the operations to prevent paper jams.
- Assists in performing routine maintenance on the press with the press team members as required.
- Follow all safety policies and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
