Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce a part-time opening for the position of OPS Landscaper at Ghazvini Center for Healthcare Education Campus with Facilities –Operations Services. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community. As an OPS Landscaper, the day-to-day responsibilities will include: Cleaning, weeding, mulching flower and border beds; care and maintenance of annual flower beds; watering yards and flowers as needed; edging, trimming, and pruning trees, flowers and shrubbery; planting flowers, trees and shrubs (new and replacement). Mowing grounds, activity fields and fringe areas. Policing and cleaning grounds, parking lots, and walkways. Sweeping and cleaning exterior stairwells, walkways and breezeways weekly. Repairing fences, sidewalks, parking lots and providing minor repairs to equipment and tools Cleaning walkways with pressure washer; cleaning and pressure washing building entrance mats. Assisting in upkeep of college vehicles-washing, gassing, etc. Dumping and cleaning all trash containers outside of buildings. Maintaining sports fields. Providing maintenance, repair and installation of irrigation systems as needed. Moving furniture, heavy equipment, and other items as requested. Provide facilities setup and takedown as necessary.
