About The Position

The Health Educator Coordinator supports community health improvement efforts through outreach, education, program coordination, and partnership development. This position works closely with internal staff, community organizations, and local partners to implement prevention programs, support strategic initiatives, coordinate outreach activities, and improve access to health education and resources. The coordinator assists with program planning, reporting, wellness initiatives, and community-based interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and lead Worksite Wellness projects on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead and coordinate the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Alliance (TPPA) Program
  • Assist the Health Liaison Program by attending meetings, submitting quarterly reports, and supporting community education and outreach efforts.
  • Assist the Strategic Planning Committee with research, planning, coordination, and implementation of initiatives.
  • Support planning and implementation of community health education programs and initiatives.
  • Occasionally, lead meetings with community partners, coalition members, or internal staff, including preparing materials, facilitating discussions, and documenting outcomes.
  • Present program data and outcomes to internal staff and community partners as needed.
  • Identify and communicate with local faith-based organizations and community-based organizations for resource distribution and collaboration
  • Attend community meetings and events to support program initiatives
  • Assist with community education presentations and outreach activities
  • Maintain tracking logs for outreach activities, meetings, and program participation
  • Submit required quarterly reports and required program documentation
  • Collect and organize program data for reporting and evaluation purposes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of program activities
  • Assist with meeting coordination, scheduling, and preparation.
  • Maintain organized files and program documentation
  • Provide general administrative support, including copying, filing, and organizing materials
  • Attend required training, meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Submits EARS and timesheets accurately and on time.
