About The Position

The Surveillance Coordinator Is responsible for detailed development, coordination, updating, revision and analysis of the surveillance testing program. This Includes the scheduling and coordination of all activities necessary to execute Surveillances and their related work documents. This role ensures surveillance activities support safe, reliable plant operation while maintaining compliance with plant procedures, and industry standards. The position serves as a key integrator between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Work Management, and Outage Planning. The Surveillance Coordinator also oversees and facilitates the Stations Surveillance Frequency Control Program and is the point of contact for other Work Groups on-site that support it. Key Responsibilities Interface with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other Work Groups as required to align surveillance activities with plant schedules and outage plans. Coordinates the Surveillance Testing Program to assure all surveillance activities are properly generated and scheduled for the On-Line, Outage and Base Schedules. Monitors surveillance scheduling and completion status to ensure conformance with station surveillance requirements. Monitors the use of surveillance interval extension (grace). Aids the work groups responsible to assure proper processing of surveillance testing program activities. Ensures Routine Task Surveillance Activity additions, deletions and revisions are correctly entered in the Routine Task database and supporting databases (such as the Work Scope Library) to include Surveillance Coversheet Title/Description, Work Center, Discipline, Classification/ Coding, Resource/Task Assignment, etc. Responsible for the duties of the TS/TR Matrix Administrator. Provides the necessary authorizations to make changes to the TS/TR Matrix database. Responsible for the review and approval of submitted TS/TR Matrix change requests. Ensures TS/TR Matrix activity additions, deletions and revisions are correctly entered in the TS/TR Matrix database. Assists Cycle Manager in maintaining changes in the Cycle Plan related to Surveillances and Operations support activities. Facilitate the Surveillance Frequency Control Program, including interface with vendors and internal program owners. Responsible for the evaluation and resolution of assigned Corrective Action Process Issues relative to the surveillance testing program. Responsible for maintaining Stations Surveillance Testing Program Procedures. Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and support operational excellence Serve as the primary point of contact for surveillance-related coordination Outage duties as assigned. Develop System Outage Windows in Primavera scheduling tool as assigned. Responsible to hold and maintain Nuclear Emergency Response Organization (NERO)Qualifications / Position.

Requirements

  • BS Engineering/Sciences (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of nuclear power plant experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, work management, scheduling, or program management.
  • Proficiency with computerized work management and scheduling tools (or demonstrated ability to learn them quickly).
  • Eligible to obtain/maintain unescorted access and meet fitness-for-duty requirements, valid driver’s license.

  • Operations background (e.g., SRO/RO, Shift Technical Advisor, plant-specific certification) or equivalent experience demonstrating strong operational judgment and plant risk awareness.
