This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Requirements

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program studying Industrial Engineering, Operations Discipline, or a related field.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (this position may require access to systems/tools restricted to individuals who possess U.S. citizenship).
Ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations, demonstrated through coursework or prior experience.
Must be local to Columbus, GA, and willing to commute onsite 5 days a week.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with project execution.

Responsibilities

Process Analysis and Improvement: Support lean projects from inception through implementation.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify paths to increase material output rates.
Seek opportunities to reduce costs, control inventory, and increase efficiency.
Identify and manage risk using lean tools to propose risk management solutions.
Provide analysis and develop recommendations for corrective actions due to process failures.
