Primary duties in the Warrants and Vouchers Unit: Run daily voucher file, Prepare and distribute daily warrants; Research outstanding warrants; Process warrants cancellations, stop payments and request for duplicates; Prepare Outstanding Warrant Report; Request copies of cashed warrants from the Treasury Establish and maintain logs for duplicate, cancellation, and stop payment requests, interest penalty; Laserfiche voucher issues; voucher returns; returned warrants; vouchers provided to DFS; requests for cashed warrants; and stale warrants Serves as a point-of-contact for Statewide Vendor Add Files requests Prepare and distribute financial reports to accounting staff Prepare files for auditing purposes and ensure documentation is properly organized and uploaded into document management system Work collaboratively with leadership to provide daily Cash Balance & JT Report, Bill Tracker Spreadsheet/Payment Log, and Audit Reports
