About The Position

Duke's is now looking for an Opportunity Analyst to join the team at our corporate office in Elgin, IL! As our Opportunity Analyst, you have a strong understanding of the opportunity process (bids, RFPs, RFQs) and will play a pivotal role in uncovering insights that shape our growth strategy and drive meaningful business impact. You will evaluate and recommend opportunities that fuel organizational growth and enhance organizational performance. This role involves analyzing market trends, competitor strategies, and internal data to identify actionable insights. Youll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess potential initiatives, develop business cases, and support strategic decision-making. If you have experience in construction, engineering, government contracting, and/or utilities, that is a plus! This is an onsite position, not remote or hybrid. What you will do: Work closely with Operations, Sales and Marketing to support opportunity assessment and execution. Evaluate the feasibility and profitability of new opportunities including analyzing the margin/revenue. Analyze data trends and forecast potential outcomes associated with new opportunities. Manage all aspects of contract execution administration, including updating contract information within internal ERP system, overseeing the renewal process for existing agreements, and supporting price adjustments as necessary. Analyze bid outcomes to gain insights into the factors contributing to unsuccessful proposals, with the goal of identifying trends and areas for improvement in future opportunities, which include submitting FOIA requests and bid protests. Requirements
