About The Position

We are currently looking for an Entry-Level Business Analyst for a 100% remote position on a large federal government project supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role is part of our EZLabs team, focused on innovation, rapid prototyping, and delivering high-impact digital solutions in a collaborative Agile environment. The ideal candidate is a motivated early-career professional who is eager to learn, analyze business needs, and support the delivery of user-centered software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and stakeholders, to help translate business requirements into actionable insights. The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
0–2 years of professional experience (internships, academic projects, or relevant training programs accepted).
Basic understanding of Business Analysis concepts (requirements gathering, user stories, SDLC).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to document processes, workflows, and requirements clearly and concisely.
Exposure to tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to healthcare or government projects is a plus.
Internship or academic experience working on software or data-related projects.
Familiarity with basic data analysis or visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) is a plus.
Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs is a plus.
Ability to obtain a government clearance.

Responsibilities

Assist in gathering, documenting, and refining business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
Support the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows under guidance from senior team members.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Help maintain and organize the product backlog in collaboration with product owners and senior analysts.
Analyze basic business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Support testing activities, including validating that delivered features meet business requirements.
Create and maintain clear documentation to support development and knowledge sharing.
Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
