About The Position
The Ophthalmic Photographer/Technician is responsible and accountable for providing diagnostic testing and procedures, physician assistance, patient education and appointment scheduling for Ophthalmology and dermatology outpatient procedures.
Requirements
- Completion of Ophthalmic Technician or Ophthalmic Assistant training and certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant
- Certification must be maintained through continuing education
- Must obtain MA-R within 60 days of hire
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant
- Pediatric experience
