About The Position

Ophthalmology services at UW Health offer expert care and treatment for all types of eye disorders and conditions. Join our ophthalmology leadership team at UW Health.

We are seeking an Ophthalmology Supervisor to:

Assist with leading the daily clinical functions of the clinic including maintaining clinical standards and maintaining compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.
Work alongside outstanding physicians, fellows, residents and medical students.
Provide a safe and comforting atmosphere for eye care patients of all ages.
Assist with optometry.

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required
• 2 years of experience as Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) Required
• 2 years of leadership experience Required
• Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) Upon Hire Required or
• American Board of Opticianry Upon Hire Required or
• National Contact Lens Examiners certification Upon Hire Required
• Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT) Required or
• ABO Masters Required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• 4 years of leadership experience Preferred
