What does a typical day look like for the Ophthalmologist? You will: Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Rotating call, at least one week per month. On-call includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Direct Patient Care: estimated 95% of the time is involved in direct patient care. Providing Ophthalmology services to patients. Procedures to be expected: Cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation Minimally invasive glaucoma surgery Pars plana vitrectomy. Scleral fixated intraocular lens. Intraocular lens exchange. Glaucoma tube shunt implant. Administrative: estimated 5% of time not involved in direct patient care. Attend meetings Complete documentation What qualifications do you look for? You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have: Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship. Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Board Certified /Board Eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. DEA and NPI required. Clean malpractice history or full disclosure. Previous experience with the VA is a plus. If selected, candidates will need to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements consistent with VA medical staff processes. What kind of benefits does Terrestris Offer? Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
