About The Position

At Central Oklahoma Eye Associates, we are an ophthalmology practice servicing the surrounding communities of Oklahoma City, OK. To help us continue to achieve our goals, we are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing dynamic team! Some of the duties include, but are not limited too: Experienced in a fast-paced clinic environment. Efficient and accurate at interviewing patients and documenting histories. Able to ensure charts are updated and accurate. Demonstrated working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, and ocular medications. Experienced with HVF, Lensometry, Keratometry, Tonometry, Visual Fields, Amslers, Muscle Fields, Pupil Exams, and Refracting. Proficient with EMR computer programs.

Requirements

  • Have some Refractions experience
  • Experience in checking overall vision, identifying chief complaint
  • IOP
  • various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visuals)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong hospitality skills and patient care focus
  • Attention to detail
  • Tech savvy with strong Microsoft Office knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Certification is a plus
