POSITION SUMMARY The primary goal of the Ophthalmic Tech/Scribe is to increase the efficiency and productivity of the physician in the clinic setting. This position works closely with physicians, mid-level providers, and nurses in a team setting to deliver high quality patient care in an efficient and effective manner. A strong work ethic, with the ability to multi-task and function in a fast moving work environments are essential functions of the job.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year working in an ophthalmic practice.
- BLS certification within 90 days of date of hire or transfer.
Nice To Haves
- Associates Degree
- Two years working in an ophthalmic practice.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or Tech, COA or COT
