Travel is REQUIRED: Meriden & Bloomfield Your Impact: Lead Clinical Excellence: Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for the technician team, ensuring all patient work-ups and information gathering meet the high standards of our ophthalmologists. Oversee Diagnostic Standards: Monitor the quality of preliminary examinations and advanced diagnostics (OCT, perimetry, etc.) performed by the team, providing coaching and troubleshooting as needed Master ophthalmic testing: Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more. Perform advanced diagnostics: Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography. Assist in surgical procedures: Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking. Streamline patient flow: Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff. Contribute to clinic efficiency: Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.
