Your day to day as AN Ophthalmic Scribe/Medical Assistant As an Ophthalmic Scribe/Medical Assistant at Carolina Ophthalmology, you can expect a varied and fulfilling day. Your primary responsibilities will include documenting patient encounters, recording medical histories and preparing patients for examinations. You'll assist the ophthalmologist in managing patient flow, ensuring a seamless experience for those seeking care. Your role will also involve updating patient records and coordinating with other healthcare professionals, fostering effective communication within the team. You will be primarily based in our Hendersonville, NC office with potential travel to our Columbus, NC office. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., providing a consistent work routine. You may participate in team meetings and training sessions to further develop your skills and knowledge, all while being an integral part of a compassionate environment focused on enhancing patient care.
