About The Position

The Wash Line Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the wash line process and peripheral equipment to ensure bales are cleaned to the necessary quality standards. This role also involves driving a forklift to support material handling. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, the ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks, effective communication, and the capacity for coordination and control movement. DESCRIPTION Operate and oversee the wash line process to clean bales effectively. Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to ensure quality standards are met. Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Safely operate a forklift to transport bales, and materials to and from the wash line. Load and unload materials required. Follow safety protocols and inspect the forklift before use. Operate additional equipment associated with the wash line and pelletizer process, such as conveyors, shredders, and separators. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunction to maintenance. Check materials before and after processing to confirm they meet quality specifications. Document and report any deviations from quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents. Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by identifying and addressing hazards.
