About The Position
KAAPA is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Operator to join our team at the Ravenna location.
Requirements
- Previous experience in ethanol preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Capability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Consult with prior shift operators, review records, and check the current status before starting each shift
- Accurately complete logbooks and daily records promptly.
- Test and record findings for various equipment
- Extract and send samples to the lab for analysis
- Ensure work areas are clean and orderly after each task
- Stay updated on the status of operating equipment
- Participate in cross-training to expand skills and knowledge
- Perform additional tasks to maintain safe and efficient plant operations
