About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY:  Operator Trainer, Work Cell set-up and End-of-Run Data Entry (1st shift 7:00am to 3:30pm)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years related work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Must possess good communication skills, written and verbal, and must be able to interact with customers and employees.
• Strong attention to details, highly organized, able to multi-task.
• Must be punctual and dependable, able to work with little supervision
• Must be able to maintain files in a neat and orderly manner

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown work areas as required.
• Responsible for training all operators on their shift.  Also required to sign off the training sheet FM-2-005 acknowledging that the operator has been trained and understands the work instruction on the job they are assigned to.
• Follow all standard operating instructions.
• May be required to relieve operators for breaks and lunches.
• May be required to run molding machines when needed.
• Print Line-Clear form for data collection and enter Line-Clear data for “End of Run” entry.
• Recognize and resolve discrepancies in reporting.
• Assist others in creating labels, scanning bar codes, and any other tasks to monitor inventory control.
• Perform simple, routine, tasks using standard procedures, tools and equipment.
• Complete any/all secondary operations while still maintaining a high-quality level of product.
• May work from verbal instructions.
• Keep accurate counts of all parts molded and document correct labor reporting.
• Report to Floor Supervisor any problems that may arise.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
