Operator Trainee
About The Position
Comply with all internal, environmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations. Ensure proper connection and disconnection of any hoses or pipelines. Monitor for leaks and/or spills of product and take proper corrective action. Fulfill the responsibilities identified in the Declaration of Inspection (DOI) and United States Coast Guard Manual. Load/Unload tank trucks safely in accordance with procedure and regulations. Load/Unload tank cars safely in accordance with procedure and regulations. Load/Unload barges/ships safely in accordance with procedure and regulations. Assist in other areas of the terminal as requested by Supervisor/Manager. Maintain good safety awareness and housekeeping practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication and math skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork.
Nice To Haves
- One year industry related experience is preferred.
- Process Technology degree and/or certificate is a plus.
