SUMMARY: Vemag/Risco Operator sets up and operates the machine including assembly and disassembly of the equipment used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for checking product, feeding materials for processing, and adjusting settings. Operators must follow all company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

High school education or up to one-month related experience or training

Responsibilities

Be on the workstation ready to work and on time.
Assemble Vemag/Risco
Communicate effectively with all leads and mechanics.
Must be able to distinguish and troubleshoot a general machine malfunction and know when Maintenance needs to be notified.
Provide proper training to employees in their area.
Coordinate with lead for scheduling of finished goods
Maintain steady flow of production.
Confirm product characteristics (weight, shape, thickness, etc)
Perform routine product inspections (weight range)
Be able to program correct settings according to the customer specifications.
Load product into the Vemag/Risco hopper according to the customer specifications
Check for foreign objects, for example, pieces of glove, metal, wood etc.
Work weekends and flexible hours as required.
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment in compliance with GMP and safety policies.
Disassemble equipment at the end of shift.
Dry Cleanup at the end of the shift
Assist in other areas as needed.
