OPERATOR, SAW (3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. M-F)

Job Location: Oldsmar, FL PLant Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am Monday - Friday | Overtime, including weekends, required as needed based on business demands
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32”.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to monitor gauges, dials, and indicators for equipment performance.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in seasonal extreme temperature conditions (heat or cold).
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using protractors and calipers a plus.
Responsibilities
- Inspect saws and safety guards at the start of the shift to ensure safe working condition.
- Adjust saw gauges to required cut lengths as specified by customer orders.
- Load extrusions onto the saw deck.
- Perform quality checks according to procedures, including tolerance and squareness checks.
- Monitor lubrication levels and perform light preventive maintenance.
- Clear machine jams and make necessary adjustments.
- Operate saws to meet daily production and efficiency goals.
- Monitor equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
- Produce quality parts to meet production schedules and audit parts throughout the process.
- Work with supervisors and team members to maximize production capabilities.
- Complete all quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
