We are looking for you! Stages cylinders in designated areas of the production plant for filling. Loads and unloads all assigned company vehicles daily. Early Access: Your benefits start after just 30 days of employment Recruiter: Tina Kratochwill/ [email protected] The Production Operator Level IV will make and/or repackage/pump compressed and liquefied industrial gases into high pressure cylinders, perform cylinder inspection and maintenance, qualify cylinders (ultrasonic and hydro testing) move cylinders to different areas of the plant, and load/unload cylinders from delivery trucks. Foster a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a way that builds strong relationships with vendors, co-workers, and management. Stages cylinders in designated areas of the production plant for filling. These areas will be identified by the production team to ensure the most efficient and supportive workflow. Collaborates on loading and unloading all assigned company vehicles daily. Coordinates the placement of trucks and trailers within a designated area on company property. Transfers cylinders to and from ground storage as needed to support operations. Collaborates with production personnel in moving full cylinders from the fill area. Optimizes pure product as needed to ensure we meet our customers' orders and expectations. Communicates any cylinder shortages to management to ensure team alignment. Inspects all cylinders for general condition and shares any discrepancies with the leadership team. Maintains equipment and shares maintenance requests with the Plant Manager in writing to ensure a safe environment. Supports the cleaning and care of the assigned work area. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to operate a fork-lift.
  • Ability to observe and assess information received via computer.
  • Ideally, 3 years of industry experience
  • Prior experience utilizing SAP.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite Products.
  • Analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to leverage metrics and related tools to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Communication skills that ensure a smooth flow of information through clear speaking, encouragement of open expression of ideas, and active listening.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others in various situations regardless of status or position.
  • Values cultural diversity and establishes supportive working relationships.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratios, and percent.

  • Ability to transverse through manufacturing and/or office locations.
  • Occasionally may be required to move up to 60 pounds or more with the aid of material handling equipment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving office/production machine parts.
  • Minimal travel required.
  • Requires both indoor & outdoor environments in various seasonal weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -10 to over 100 degrees.

Responsibilities
