Requirements

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and minimum 1 year experience running a CNC machine.
  • Ability to read basic drawings and use measuring tools to verify part accuracy - training provided as needed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating material handling equipment including forklift, overhead crane a plus – Must pass evaluation before working independently.

Responsibilities

  • Load/unload raw materials, set up tooling, calibrate equipment, and input programming instructions.
  • Supervise machines during operation, making real-time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify they meet blueprint specifications and tolerances.
  • Uses small vacuum to remove debris or shavings from the workspace while the machine is cutting.
  • Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance on CNC machines and tools.
  • Keep accurate logs of production, quality checks, and machine actions.
  • Ensure parts produced are accurate. Discrepancies or defective material must be reported to Supervisor immediately.
  • Responsible for maintaining traceability for aluminum parts and returning aluminum rems (drops) to ensure accuracy of inventory.
  • Work in collaboration with Team lead or Supervisor to reference set-up procedures to ensure material is safely loaded onto production equipment.
  • Work in a safe and conscientious manner.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.
