About The Position

This position involves the advanced operation of a computer-based laser machining work center. The primary responsibility is to laser process components following minimum instructions, which may include drawings, written, or verbal directions. The employee must become familiar with concepts of procedures and will be aided with general supervision. Additionally, the individual may be asked to provide leadership and direction to newly hired or more junior employees. This role is part of a team, with a strong emphasis on the individual's ability to participate in a team environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum three years of experience in a comparable manufacturing environment preferably utilizing computer aided machinery or similarly equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to follow detailed technical processes using mechanical equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with automated inspection equipment
  • Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturing.
  • Use of optical inspection equipment (magnifier, microscope, and/or equipment used for measuring capacity).

Responsibilities

  • Perform medium to high complexity tasks related to customer specific process requirements.
  • Comprehend documentation requirements.
  • Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation.
  • Adjust system settings within established guidelines as required.
  • Inspect components to ensure specifications have been met.
  • Enter data and report issues as required.
  • Take responsibility as directed for all required process documentation.
  • Train other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow instructions of the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to Resonetics policy and good safe labor practices.
  • Utilize laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources in a manner that is safe for all Resonetics employees and visitors, considering various wavelengths of laser light in personal protection policies.
  • Conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner and maintain a high standard of conduct and job performance.
