About The Position

This position is responsible for operating industrial equipment that produces components, subassemblies or assembled finished goods across various processes in a safe, clean and efficient manner. Operator II is responsible for the operation of fully automated machinery.

Requires standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, pulling, pushing, and feeling
Requires eye/hand/foot coordination
Requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds

High School Diploma or equivalent. Significant experience and skills in the field may be considered in lieu of diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year technical experience, manufacturing environment preferred

Knowledge of automated machinery and processes preferred

Responsibilities

Documents production and quality records on specified forms
Marks and labels containers, container tags, or products using marking tools
Packs and seals product/containers using hand tools
Performs periodic visual inspections and gauging
Operates automated assembly equipment to include procuring material, loading material into machinery, monitoring Human Machine Interface (HMI) on faults, and escalating to technicians as needed
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
May be required to transfer palleted material within the production area using a manual pallet jack
Cleans work areas using basic cleaning materials
Performs other duties as assigned
