More about us: https://www.hach.com/about-us The Operator II is responsible for manufacturing quality product according to the work order or other build signal while adhering to defined work instructions. General duties may include picking, assembling, and packaging. Machine set-up and equipment operation may be required. In this role, you will: Prepare machines to start a production cycle٫ performing calibration٫ cleaning and other activities Monitor and properly adjust machine settings Check parts with precision٫ using appropriate measuring tools Conduct tests to check the operation of machines٫ on a regular basis Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift Verify output to detect any machine-related mistakes or flaws Create and manage records of approved and defective units or final products Create and maintain activity logs Adhere to health and safety regulations Possess manual dexterity and good coordination Possess basic reading, writing, and math skills Possess proven mechanical ability or aptitude Possess ability to resolve minor problems, recognize normal and unusual situations Ability to learn machine operations (including set up and changeover), and/or kitting. Some areas will require the ability to work with manual and/or power equipment. Must have good oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to learn machine operations (including set up and changeover), and/or kitting. Some areas will require the ability to work with manual and/or power equipment.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • HS diploma/GED or equivalent preferred
  • Six months production experience required
  • Six months mechanical experience or equivalent required
  • Some areas will require the ability to work with manual and/or power equipment.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
