Requirements

Minimum of 2 years experience on a high speed mail inserting machine
Excellent attendance record and punctuality
Position requires HS/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of USPS regulations
Ability to read and understand job tickets in English
English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking required. Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

Set-up, Operating and Maintenance of insert machines
Able to operate machine(s) independently for all types of mail production jobs
Independently operate inserter equipment to produce error-free mail (100% integrity) for high-priority or regulated client jobs, meeting strict quality and compliance standards.
Trouble-shoot insert equipment and set up of basic jobs.
Meet established hourly production standards
Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements
Reconciling/recording for all output. accurately use job data capture to track time with a strong quality of work
Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output
Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor
Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures
