About The Position

Job Summary Control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery. Job Description – Liquid Compounding Chemical Operator Operator will package and filter finished goods and replenish raw material inventory as necessary. Operator will also be responsible for chemical blending in Production including manual dispensing of all flavor chemicals and combining with automatically dispensed materials. (second shift 3:30pm-11:50pm/ Midnight shift 11:30pm-7:50am Monday-Friday)

Requirements

  • Capable of wearing full-face respirator for handling of sensitive materials.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs without difficulty.
  • Ability to learn quickly and highlight process improvements.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledgeable in computer applications
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours per day
  • Ability to handle 200 kg drums and 50 LB bags
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Basic math, reading and computer skills
  • SAP, Camelot and Marco experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • English fluency
  • Prior chemical process manufacturing experience

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift training is a plus.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Compound as required by production demand by following shop floor precisely as instructed to do so by shop floor papers.
  • Responsible for safe operation of forklift and all material handling equipment within the work area.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, utilize appropriate safety equipment and proactively improve the safety culture of the department.
  • Maintain processing area and equipment in a clean, sanitary and presentable condition; adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and exemplary housekeeping standards.
  • Ability and willingness to work as part of a team to solve problems, develop procedures, and recommend improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. ( May be required to work in other departments depending on business need )
