The Formulation/Prep Operations is a key part of the Operations team in Lilly’s Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing site. We manufacture and fill injectable parenteral products in state-of-the-art facilities to supply patients around the world. This position will work in a building with a best-in-class, global production line. Operators will work with advanced industry technologies. Operators will learn transferable skills from a global team and support key current and upcoming company products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Minimum 3 Years of Manufacturing Experience
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role, including but not limited to F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict compliance with established policies/procedures (Safety, Production Procedures, Sanitization, Gowning, Etc.)
  • Completion of training and qualifications to stay current and qualified to perform job.
  • Adhere to Parenteral Plant safety policies and procedures, contribute to a safe work environment.
  • Perform sanitizations in classified areas to maintain the sterility of the area, operation, and product.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality of product.
  • Document process steps on appropriate batch documentation following Good Documentation Practices.
  • Set up and perform operations tasks in both aseptic and non-aseptic processes.
  • Prep equipment for the filling line to use in the filling process.
  • Formulate drug products to be filled into syringes on the filling line.
  • Teardown and wash equipment used on the filling line.
  • Pre and Post test filters used during drug product runs as well as filters used on canisters for equipment.
  • Must be able to wear proper Personal protective Equipment (PPE) while performing tasks.
