Under minimum supervision, work safely and efficiently to meet production schedules and quality standards by performing Slitting processes and operating necessary equipment.Preparing machinery for operation Regular and predictable attendance. Set up equipment according to work order requirements Maintain tight tolerances Knowledge of different splice types Knowledge of Basic Nomencalture of material types Independently set up equipment necessary to properly process belting material in accordance with quality control standards and specifications on the order. Check work for accuracy and immediately take order to next workstation (or to stock or shipping dept., depending on type of order). Follow safety procedure and work carefully at all times to prevent injuries and to avoid damage to company property. Effectively communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers to achieve company goals and objectives.
