About The Position

The Equipment Operator will contribute to a coke-handling team by operating several pieces of equipment that will help move, stockpile, and prepare petroleum coke for distribution. Here is what you will be doing: Operate any one of the following on a daily basis: a CAT 980 Loader (or equivalent) and a CAT D8 (or equivalent) Dozer Assist the operation with other tasks deemed necessary to meet customer expectations, i.e. maintenance, clean-up, safety observations and inspections Perform thorough pre and post-trip inspections Maintain cleanliness of equipment Expand personal knowledge of operating equipment Report maintenance issues to the maintenance crew Understand our critical service requirements and see they are met Take an active role in our safety program including attendance at all safety meetings and ensure safe behaviors Ensure environmental compliance

Requirements

• Active driver's license
• Extensive experience operating large pieces of heavy equipment
• Read, write, speak and understand English
• Should understand best practices of maintaining and safely operating Heavy Equipment
• Safety-conscious and understand safe work practices
• Comfortable with heights including the ability to walk up and down conveyor belt lines and climb ladders
• Pass a drug screen, possess a current Driver’s License and TWIC card at the time of applying
