Requirements

Basic communication skills to include reading, speaking, and understanding English and basic math skills.
The physical ability to stand and walk up to 100% of the work shift.
The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Specific vision abilities required of the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
This position requires a high attention to detail and quality.
This position requires demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others in a positive manner.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Must follow directions well.
Ability to work overtime – including work on weekends, when needed.
Good attendance is a must.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are necessary for this job.

Responsibilities

Check in garments when they arrive.
Load design onto the machine via computer
Hoop garment or item while the machine is running, prepping for the next run
Operate machines while trimming the backing
Learn how to adjust tensions for better sewing quality
Fix errors if needed on items
Maintains a safe, efficient, and clean work environment that shows pride in Workwear, and is worthy of sharing with visitors at all times.
