About The Position

Operator - Cut and Wrap Position Summary Work Schedule: 100% based on-site in Manassas, VA Our Manassas, Virginia site is a part of the Consumer Health division and provides expanded capabilities in soft chews and lozenges. With extensive development and manufacturing expertise and a wide range of flavors, ingredients, and colors available, we can work with complex formulations to help create engaging new products consumers will love. The Operator will s upport production according to Standard Operating Procedures and specified quality standards. The Operator also c arries out specific instructions from Production Manager/Supervisor in accordance with the daily schedule. The Role Assist in all aspects of our processes.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds, infrequently move up to 1000 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.
• The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Documenting of batch records in real time
• Daily calibrations of equipment such as scales
• Loading product into the equipment
• Loading wrappers and/or bags onto the equipment
• Monitoring the product and escalating any abnormalities or defects.
• Being very attentive to quality controls.
• Moving product from one area to another (carts, totes, drums, pallets)
• Clean and sanitize area during product changeovers in accordance with batch records.
• Other duties assigned.
