About The Position

The CNC Operator plays a key role in supporting the Mill Room by accurately cutting different types of wood to specified patterns and dimensions. This position ensures that high-quality materials are prepared for assembly, directly contributing to the craftsmanship and finish of Midwest Automotive Design luxury vans.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in CNC in a manufacturing environment.
• Completion of a CNC program from a community college or technical school is preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a CNC program from a community college or technical school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling grinding, and milling.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges to ensure they match blueprints.
• Maintain Accurate production logs and report any material discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety guidelines.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
