Valgroup is hiring a Day Shift Operator Assistant to support our manufacturing facility in Findlay, Ohio . We are one of the largest plastics producers and recyclers in the world. What you will do: Train to operate a NEW Production Line Work 7:30 am to 7:30 pm on a 12-HR 2-2-3 Schedule This shift allows multiple weekdays and every other weekend off Train to become a Skilled Machine Operator Learn Recycle machine operations Pull and weigh materials Learn line start-up and troubleshooting Learn to Operate Forklift Assist other projects and work as needed
Requirements
- Mechanical ability and problem solving
- Safe work behaviors and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Train to operate a NEW Production Line
- Train to become a Skilled Machine Operator
- Learn Recycle machine operations
- Pull and weigh materials
- Learn line start-up and troubleshooting
- Learn to Operate Forklift
- Assist other projects and work as needed
