About The Position

Manages the daily operation of the water treatment plants assigned, ensuring compliance with the guidelines set forth by the State of Texas, TCEQ, PUC and the Operations Manager. Day to Day: Responsible for the daily operation of the water treatment plants assigned. Responsible for continuing education and keeping licenses and certifications up to date. Maintain professional Customer service in the field. Plant maintenance including but not limited to daily operations, grass maintenance, monthly samples, flushing, data entry into BirdNest, completing work orders given from office staff. Quarterly DLQOR reports, yearly tank inspections, assisting office with lead and copper samples. Assist vendors with any new construction and/or repairs. Responsible for fixing meters, pumps and other minor repairs. Responsible for at least one monthly weekend operations including holidays. Responsible for maintaining fleet vehicle. Comply with all Company policies, procedures and safety regulations. Comply with Company grooming and uniform policy.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Valid Texas drivers’ license.
  • Must have at minimum C level Wastewater license and C level Ground Water license
  • Must have computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and other systems.
  • Ability to multi-task with interruptions while maintaining a professional demeaner.

Nice To Haves

  • Some level of post high school education in an appropriate field is preferred.
