About The Position

Operator 1 Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00/ Hr. Must be willing to relocate to Henderson, NV in January 4, 2027 As the largest machine tool builder in the western world, we need world-class talent in all of our departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE) credential such as general education degree (GED) is required, plus an additional one to three months related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and safety rules; such as work instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • May need to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Must have the ability to apply common sense and understanding in order to carry out written, oral, and/or diagram instruction forms.
  • Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety requirements within the department.
  • Follow daily and weekly schedules.
  • Find, read & follow work instructions displayed electronically (iPad).
  • Find basic diameters and dimensions on a blueprint.
  • Correctly load and unload parts.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify part integrity.
  • Maintain machines (oils, coolant, filters, and cleanliness).
  • Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift.
  • Employees must report any damage to a supervisor or manager.
  • Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
  • Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.
