About The Position

The Operations Workflow Specialist will be tasked with a variety of duties and responsibilities as driven by work orders from internal departments and/or division partners. Position requires detailed knowledge of operation processes in a variety of risk management products. The Specialist will demonstrate expert knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures to resolve work order requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while meeting and exceeding quality, quantity, and service level standards. Work order requests will include execution of corrective actions, short-term service projects, and staffing supplement for peak volumes/holidays. The Operations Workflow Specialist will deliver excellent customer service for clients by maintaining consistently high standards and modeling a passion for service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3 – 4 years related experience

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the plan of actions and assists in its execution to completion
  • Proficiency in performing operation processes.
  • Corrective actions to address client servicing opportunities or risks related to the risk management products
  • Exception-based reviews of notices, certificates, premium, images, and client requests and processes
  • Interpret and accurately update insurance policies to loans
  • Gathers, interprets, and uses complex data to develop actionable steps
  • Handle incoming and outbound calls professionally, according to procedures and exceptions
  • Collects, analyzes, and synthesizes amounts of diverse information, typically dealing with strict deadlines
  • Analyzing in detail to discover the process, breaking them down to gain the understanding of why and how something occurred. Using data discovered and creating a new process, writing the new process for procedures, and following it through.
  • Identified project requirements by interviewing requestor and subject matter experts
  • Own, as needed the review process of request for Work Orders, developing the work order form, interviewing the requestor and SME’s.
  • Write the guidelines to be followed for expectations of the work. Review and train others to follow through with execution seeing it through to the end.
  • Makes recommendations for process or procedure changes and/or recommendation for recurrence prevention
  • During discoveries and while working all work orders must be engrossed in all details to alert management of process or procedure changes that should take place.
