About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for a dynamic Operations Warehouse Manager for their Hialeah, FL location. This role is responsible for managing operations and activities to ensure the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods within a warehouse, while also meeting customer delivery requirements. The manager will establish and maintain appropriate processes and systems for measuring and reporting all necessary aspects of operational performance, and for establishing timely and thorough corrective action plans for underperforming areas or delinquent development initiatives. They will monitor, drive, and lead teams and daily warehouse activities, ensuring all regulatory requirements and operational needs are met. The position requires assuring a proper process and communication flow within the site to meet departmental and company key results, and working to ensure customer satisfaction with on-time delivery and quality. Additionally, the manager will properly organize, manage, and develop direct reporting staff, establishing identification, development, and retention programs for high-potential individuals. They will manage and control departmental expenditures, identify expense reduction potentials, and plan, develop, and implement department goals in support of annual key results. The role also involves liaising and collaborating with other key stakeholders to ensure activities meet and integrate with organizational requirements and company policies, including Code of Conduct, Export Compliance, QA management/procedures, and HS&E.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related work experience in warehouse operations
  • Experience in global cross functional environment, Warehouse Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong ability to make thoughtful decisions
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with team, internal functional areas and customers.
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in leadership role (team leader, temp manage, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities
