Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronic Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Operations Training Coordinator to join our team at our Electronics Manufacturing Facility (EMF). Candidate will be responsible for maintaining all required training and certifications for all employees at EMF. This includes IPC standards and lab/product specific training for Printed Circuit Boards, Cables, Electro-Mechanical Assemblies and Space Products. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years of prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a Highschool diploma or GED with 5 years of experience will be considered
  • Applicants must have strong experience working with teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet multiple objectives over similar time periods.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with new hires to document what certifications are already complete on day 1 and get those certifications uploaded to Leidos Workday training records.
  • Work with hiring manager and new hires to develop training plan that includes lab specific training campaigns and required IPC certifications.
  • Schedule required training and IPC certifications for new hires so they can begin work in labs as quickly as possible. This includes scheduling in-house training and training at subcontractors.
  • Track and maintain over 500 certifications for 200+ employees at EMF.
  • Proactively schedule re-certifications before certifications expire.
  • Establish best practices for training including combining training for people from different labs into one session to get reduced cost and better lead times.
