About The Position

The Operations Trainer is responsible for training, coaching, and supporting employees in Operations. This role ensures that team members follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), meet quality and safety standards, and are equipped with the skills required to perform their tasks efficiently and accurately. The Operations Trainer works closely with Operations/Logistics, Quality, and Team Leads, to onboard new employees, upskill existing staff, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Effectively train, certify, and provide guidance to new hires and transferring personnel on day-to-day processes in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. Prepare, schedule, and conduct hands-on training with related documentation. Provide guidance and mentoring for existing personnel to further develop their skills, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency in Operations. Continuously identify opportunities to improve the overall success of Operations. Assist Training Supervisor to implement process improvements and new procedures related to operational activities. Proactively identify areas for training improvement related to quality, safety, and productivity. Accurately interpret, input, and verify data in application-based systems. Read, comprehend, and adhere to written work instructions, SOP’s, etc. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and always promote a safe work environment, including (e.g., equipment use, safe material handling). Accomplish other duties as assigned to support overall Operations performance. Competencies (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.) Able to communicate clearly with all employees, both in person and in writing Able to read, write, and speak English to understand work instructions, safety rules, and training materials Basic computer skills, including but not limited to navigation, typing, email, and simple data entry within systems Able to follow documented guidelines, procedures, and processes Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment with changing priorities and workloads Able to work well independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team Able to follow all written and verbal instructions and help others understand and follow them as well Strong attention to detail with ability to work quickly while keeping a high level of accuracy Able to observe and evaluate how well trainees are learning tasks and give simple, clear feedback to help them improve Willing and able to adjust to changes in tasks, priorities, and schedules to meet business needs Desired Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma/GED Preferred Education: Preferred Experience: Familiarity with audio and visual products (e.g., hearing aids, gaming equipment, enterprise audio and visual solutions) Experience working with or supporting a Warehouse Management System (D365) or another WMS. Familiarity with quality and safety standards in a warehouse/distribution environment (e.g., dock safety, proper packaging and labeling, basic compliance requirements) Able to safely handle materials, move product, and use common warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) Familiarity with working in a regulated environment and following documented procedures (e.g., ISO standards, FDA, or other applicable regulations)

  • Depending on your work location, the target hourly rate for this position can range from $24.00 to $28.00 an hour.
