About The Position

The Trainer Senior provides leadership and mentoring to their peers to create alignment in approach as the team perpetuates a culture of superior service and high performing frontline teams through training and onboarding new employees in the operational areas of Select Health Member Services, Claims, Pharmacy Services, Appeals and Grievances and Sales Schedule Monday -Friday Hours are generally flexible, typically 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; schedules may vary based on training class needs Major holidays are generally observed; however, occasional holiday work may be required to support teams Essential Functions Responsible for the sharing knowledge, processes, and job essentials for frontline employees and contractors through training and mentoring. Expertly performing the responsibilities of an Operations Trainer position Supports peers in maintaining and developing training materials, establishing facilitation styles, and enhancing outlines to ensure a highly engaged learning environment that facilitates retention of information. Leads team projects and workgroups to improve training processes and foster alignment in deliverance of training content and engagement techniques. Responsible to provide mentorship to peers by training and onboarding in job essentials and day-to-day work. Responsible to lead specialty trainings that support larger products, plans, and initiatives and act as a subject matter expert who ensures higher-level curriculums are at an optimal place while ensuring caregiver success and contribution toward company strategies and key performance indicators, and performance guarantees.

Requirements

  • Successfully performing job essentials of trainer position.
  • Demonstrated excellence in facilitation of all basic and specialty trainings.
