Distribution Center Trainer Location: Duluth, GA, USA - 2975 Evergreen Drive Shift - Sunday 4pm to 12:30am; Monday-Thursday 5pm to 1:30am Note - Shift subject to change based on the needs of the business. OT may be required and is mandatory if required. This position start time may fluctuate and flexibility is required. Compensation - will depend on the internal selected. A $1.00 shift differential will also apply. Open to internals only. In this position, you’ll leverage your experience to provide essential training for your colleagues, work varied shifts as needed, and gain exposure working across different departments when training tasks are not assigned. Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Internal candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in a Distribution position with exposure to various departments
  • Power equipment experience required (including cherry picker, reach truck, and a powered pallet jack).
  • Must be able to train others on equipment and maintain own certifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: Must be able to partner with diverse groups or individuals to train, mentor, and explain processes/SOPs to various levels of employees
  • MS Office at an intermediate level (data entry, Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams)
  • Must be a positive change team member that demonstrates passion and commitment to the success of the team and individuals
  • Good critical thinking skills with the ability to see the “big picture” and be proactive
  • Excellent organization and prioritization with competing priorities
  • Critical thinking skills – root cause analysis & understanding of how functions are related
  • Basic Math – add/subtract/multiply/divide
  • 1 year of experience in a “McKesson DC” is required
  • Must be flexible and willing to work all shifts as business needs require and willing to work in any relevant department
  • Associates must be in good standing and meet performance standards in their current position
  • Associates must not have more than a verbal warning for attendance.
  • Associates must not have received a disciplinary action above a verbal warning within the past six months.
  • No Safety issues in the last 90 days
  • Demonstrates i2CARE and ILEAD principles

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Accumax, E1/RF web preferred
  • Prior training experience would be considered a strong asset

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for training associates in Outbound processes, including but not limited to: Picking and packing, Dock processes (strapping, direct trailer loading)
  • Responsible for training in the Inbound process, including but not limited to: Receiving, Put Away, Replenish, Cycle Counts, and Returns

  • Candidate must be able to learn and perform outbound and inbound functions in which they are not already proficient
