The Operations Technician is a full-time hourly position, working up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. This role involves a hands-on learning experience to facilitate the needs of a dynamic mixed office, laboratory, and manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

Nice To Haves

Highly detailed oriented with excellent documentation skills and exceptional troubleshooting abilities.
Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle, Netsuite, or QuickBooks.
Experience in GMP or biologics production.
Adeptness with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Experience with Lean Six Sigma and/or 5S.

Responsibilities

Maintaining the laboratory inventory system, with regular cycle counting, order requests, and restocking.
Receiving incoming shipments and packages.
Logging facilities related entries in maintenance module.
Operating the laboratory autoclave and disposing of autoclave waste.
Cross training in manufacturing processes to aid in Upstream and Downstream production runs.
Performing assorted laboratory duties, including dishwasher operation, solution spray refilling, and recycling.
Assisting Operations and Facilities Manager with package preparation and shipping.
Working collaboratively with laboratory and production staff.
Liaising with visiting service contractors.
Engaging in process improvement activities.
Assisting the Operations and Facilities Manager for other occasional miscellaneous tasks not otherwise specified.
