Requirements

  • 3 years of previous manufacturing operational knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with others in a positive and effective manner
  • Ability to organize, schedule, and perform multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to demonstrate and monitor safe work practices
  • Ability to demonstrate and support plant SOPs, company guidelines, and standards (quality, maintenance, and housekeeping)
  • Experience using a computer
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Prior fork truck experience
  • Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting/maintenance experience
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of plant systems (SAP, RSView, eQual/Infinity QS) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to identify a problem situation and use analytical skills to find root cause(s)
  • Lean manufacturing skills

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment to produce finished goods
  • Use forklift equipment to manage raw materials and finished goods inside warehouse
  • Maintains housekeeping standards for equipment & facility
  • Monitors and promotes safe work habits by self and all plant personnel
  • Perform quality checks & basic preventative maintenance.
  • Record in automated computer system
  • Performs all duties as required by Eagle’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Works as part of a team, but individually manages one of three processes
  • Provides assistance and coverage for other Team Members as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Reads and interprets information in order to maintain equipment and processes
