Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Proven mechanical proficiency
Ability and desire to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights, on-call assignments, and weekends
Availability to meet mandatory call-in requirements as scheduled
Ability to perform general maintenance tasks on plant process equipment (e.g., vibration monitoring, oil sampling)
This is a safety-sensitive position
Willingness to travel to support other plants on a case-by-case basis
Ability to climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to perform elevated work as required

Nice To Haves

Basic electrical, instrumentation, or mechanical maintenance experience preferred
Experience using personal computers
Experience with Microsoft Word or Excel preferred
Ability to operate a tractor/trailer to fill liquid helium containers preferred
Qualified candidates should possess strong scholastic credentials and relevant work and/or military experience

Responsibilities

Monitor plant processes and perform preventive and routine maintenance on systems
Participate in loading and offloading liquid cryogenic and gaseous helium containers in accordance with company procedures
Learn to operate a tractor truck to move large containers onsite
Interface with HMI systems to supervise operations, adjust plant parameters, and perform trend analysis
Collect and log operational data throughout the plant
Collect water samples and perform required testing
Certify certificates of analysis for products based on analytical data gathered
