About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Technician II to support dock office operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is responsible for managing workflows within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring smooth inbound and outbound operations, and communicating effectively with internal teams and customers. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong WMS, logistics coordination, and data tracking experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or dock office roles preferred
- Strong working knowledge of WMS systems required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data tracking/reporting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor WMS workflows to support daily inbound and outbound operations
- Coordinate with the Operations Supervisor to ensure balanced workload distribution
- Track and adjust forecasted workloads to optimize labor and transportation resources
- Partner with inventory and warehouse teams to resolve order discrepancies
- Communicate with customers regarding order updates and changes
- Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets, reports, and tracking tools
- Support warehouse operations and assist with additional duties as needed
- Contribute to achieving KPIs in safety, quality, and productivity
