About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Technician II to support dock office operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is responsible for managing workflows within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) , ensuring smooth inbound and outbound operations, and communicating effectively with internal teams and customers. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong WMS, logistics coordination, and data tracking experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or dock office roles preferred
- Strong working knowledge of WMS systems required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data tracking/reporting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor WMS workflows to support daily inbound and outbound operations
- Coordinate with the Operations Supervisor to ensure balanced workload distribution
- Track and adjust forecasted workloads to optimize labor and transportation resources
- Partner with inventory and warehouse teams to resolve order discrepancies
- Communicate with customers regarding order updates and changes
- Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets, reports, and tracking tools
- Support warehouse operations and assist with additional duties as needed
- Contribute to achieving KPIs in safety, quality, and productivity
