About The Position

Restek is seeking an Operations Technician I to join the Shipping Department. This position will be heavily involved with international shipping, as Restek ships to over 90 countries. Understanding the complexities of international shipping due to export regulations will be crucial to the success of this role. This position will work third shift, Sunday through Friday, 10:00 pm – 6:30 am. Requirements

Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and precision.
Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills.
Communication: Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions and to communicate effectively with team members.
Teamwork: Friendly demeanor and ability to work well in a team setting.
EHS Knowledge: Understanding of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements for products.
This position will require the successful completion of a standard background check in accordance with Restek policy.
Employment with Restek will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Preferably 2 years of specialized training in a science-related technology or relevant experience.
Previous manufacturing experience a plus.
Technical Skills: Basic problem-solving using math and scientific principles. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic ERP systems is preferred.
